Joan was born in 1282 in Thunnock,Lancashire,England. Joan's father was Lord of Thunnock, Sir Richard Cornwall and her mother is Joan *St. Owen. Her paternal grandfather was Richard (The Lion Hearted) *Plantagenet and her paternal grandmother is Joan *Valletort. She had four brothers named Edmund, Richard, Geoffrey and William. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 59 in 1341. She was buried in Howard Chapel,East Winch,Norfolk,England.-
