BIOGRAPHY: Lady Elizabeth Cooper married Sir Nathaniel Nightingale (brother of Florence Nightingale) in England. They had two children: William (Willie) and a girl. Lady Elizabeth was widowed early and met John Frame an Irishman,a Captain of a sailing vessel which sailed to the Brittish West Indies. Both the Cooper and Nightingale families disapproved of the romance. The couple married and the Nightingale family tried to get the children away from the Frames. With the two children, Elizabeth and John Frame emmigrated to the Brittish West Indies. In 1863, Charlotte Frame was born, there may also have been a boy - Peter and a girl (referred to as Aunt Noonie) by Marie Crombie Shaw when was dying.
The place of birth listed for Elizabeth by her daughter, Charlotte Frame/Crombie, in the 1920 US census, is Brittish West Indies; although it is generally thought (in my family) that she was born in England.

William Alleyne, known as Willie, was born about 1848 in Brittish West Indies.
Julianna Elizabeth and John were married in a religious ceremony about 1863. They had a son and two daughters, named Peter, Charlotte and UNKNOWN.

Charlotte was born in 1859 in British West Indies.1 She died at the age of 74 in 1933 in New York.
