Blanche (Blanca) was born on May 23rd, 1188 in Chateaux de Pale,Valencia,Spain.  Blanche (Blanca)'s father was King of Castile Alfonso Sanchez (The Good) Castile VIII and her mother was Eleanor Plantagenet.  Her paternal grandparents were King of Castile Sancho Alfonsez (The Desired) Castile III and Blanche Navarre; her maternal grandparents were Duke d' Anjou, King of England Henry Plantagenet II and Duchess d'Aquitaine, Queen of England and France Eleanor Aquitaine.  She was an only child.  She died  due to heart attack at the age of 64 on November 27th, 1252 in Paris,France.  She was buried in Maubuisson Abbey(her body) and Abbey of the Lys(her heart),France.


Blanche (Blanca)'s family with Louis VIII

‌Blanche (Blanca) and Louis were married in a religious ceremony on May 23rd, 1200 in Bapaume,Normandy,France.  They had four sons named Louis, Robert, Charles and Alphonse.
