Lucreece Bassano 
Lucreece was born on September 24th, 1556 in London,England.1 Lucreece's father was Anthony Bassano and her mother is Elena di Nazzi. Her paternal grandfather was Jeronimo Bassano; her maternal grandfather is Beneditto di Nazzi. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Arthur, Nicholas, Edward, Jeronimo, Marc Anthony, Angelic, Margaretta, Andrea and Isabella. She died in East Greenwich,Kent,England.1 General Notes

He theory presents Emelia Bossano Lanier to be the famed "dark lady" of Shakespears sonnets. Emelia was married to Nicholas and Lucreece Laniers son Alphonse Lanier (brother of Clement), and is also first cousin to her mother in law Lucreece Bassano Lanier via thier grandfather Jeranimo Lanier.

Notes for LUCRETIA OR LUCREECE BASSANO: She was the daughter of the
Bassano family of musicians who came to England to serve Henry VIII.
They probably originated from the city of Bassano Del Grappa near Venice.
At that time the fabulous Renaissance courts of the Medici were winding
down and the artists and musicians of those courts were seeking work
elsewhere.
