Blanche Capet was born about 1248 in Arras,France.  Blanche Capet's father was Comte d'Artois, Prince Robert Artois I and her mother was Countess d'Artois Maud(Matilda) Brabant.  Her paternal grandparents were Louis VIII and Queen of France Blanche (Blanca) Castile; her maternal grandparents were Duke Henry Brabant II and Maria(Mary) Hohenstaufen. She had a brother named Robert Capet.  She was the older of the two children.  She died on May 2nd, 1302 in Paris,France.  She was buried in Minoresses Convent,Aldgate,Middlesex,England.

‌Blanche Capet and Le Gros were married in a religious ceremony in 1269.  They had a son and a daughter, named Thibaut and Jeanne.


Blanche Capet's second family with Edmund (Crouchback) *Plantagenet

‌Blanche Capet and Crouchback were married in a religious ceremony on February 3rd, 1275 in Paris,France.  They had three sons and three daughters, named Thomas, Henry, John Plantaganet, Margaret, Betrix and Mary.
