Justina Albert 
Justina was born on March 4th, 1873 in Meriden,Conn. and her baptism took place in Meridan,Conn. (catholic).1 Justina's father was Johan Albert Jr. and her mother was Mary Weniger. Her paternal grandparents are Johan Aulbach, Albert and Rosa *unknown; her maternal grandparents are Johan Weniger and Maria *Ebert?. She had five brothers and six sisters, named John H., Anton, Fredrick, John, Henry Christopher, Annie, Barbara, Theresa, Elizabeth, Augusta and Martha. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 75 on August 30th, 1948 in Brooklyn,Kings,NY. She was buried on September 3rd, 1948 in Mt. Olivet Cemetery,Maspeth,NY.1 1 General Notes
Justina was about 15 or 16 when her mother died (her father died the previous year) so she married Benjamin Jordan at that time who came in and helped take care of the children (her siblings - about 8 of them). All of John and Mary's kids were baptised Catholic; but durring this time, the Protestant church did quite alot for them. The church provided care and money, etc. so Justina began to send the children to the Protestant church.
