‌Stephen and Harriet were married in a religious ceremony on June 7th, 1849 in , Kane, Illinois, USA.¹   They had seven sons and two daughters, named William Henry, Stephen Julian, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, Frank Lewis, John Mathew, John Sabin, Mary Emma and Hattie Azana.
