Roland Knosalla 
Roland was born on November 25th, 1827 in Bytom, Katowickiego, Poland.1 Roland's father was Anton Knosalla and his mother was Therese Mewel. His paternal grandparents were Nicolas Knosalla and Karolina Seidler. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Caspar Albert, Franz Wilhelm, Norbert Klaus, Franz Hermann, Caspar Josef, Marinka Josefina, Johanne Klara and Karolina. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 64 on February 14th, 1892 in Bytom, Katowice, , Poland.-
