Joshua Hobart 
Joshua was born on July 12th, 1629 in Southwold, Suffolk, England.1 Joshua's father was Peter Hobart and his mother was Elizabeth Ibrook. His paternal grandparents were Edmund Hubbard (Hobart) and Margaret Dewey; his maternal grandparents are Richard Ibrook and Margaret Clark. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Jeremiah, Josiah, Israel, Gershom, Elizabeth, Hannah, Hannah, Bathsheba and Jael. He was the oldest of the ten children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Japhet, Nehemiah, David, Rebecca, Abigail and Lydia. He died at the age of 87 on February 28th, 1717 in Southold, L. I..1 General Notes
