Bathsheba was born on September 28th, 1640 in Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA and her baptism took place on October 4th, 1640.1   Bathsheba's father was Peter Hobart and her mother was Elizabeth Ibrook.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund Hubbard (Hobart) and Margaret Dewey; her maternal grandparents are Richard Ibrook and Margaret Clark. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Joshua, Jeremiah, Josiah, Israel, Gershom, Elizabeth, Hannah, Hannah and Jael.  She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Japhet, Nehemiah, David, Rebecca, Abigail and Lydia.  She died at the age of 83 on April 14th, 1724.2
