Walter FitzAlan 
Walter was born about 1105 in of Paisley Abbey, Renfrewshire, England and his baptism took place in Also, of Dol, Normandy, France. Walter's father was Alan FitzFlaald and his mother is Avelina de Hesding. His paternal grandfather is Fledaldus or Flaald of Dol; his maternal grandfather is Ernulf de Hesding. He had two brothers and a sister, named Jordan, William and Sibil. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died in 1177.General Notes
