Harriet's father is Conilius Howe and her mother is UNKNOWN Margaret. She had a brother and three sisters, named Cornilius, Beatrice, Anne and Sara. She has a half-brother named Franklin London.

They have a son and four daughters, named Philip Serles, Harriet, Ivey, Maizie and Philis.
