David Henderson 
David was born in 1732 in Fifeshire, Scotland.1 David's father was William Henderson and his mother was Susan Kearns. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Henderson and Jeane Chessor; his maternal grandfather is Thomas Cairns. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, Karnes H, John, William, James, Susan, Elizabeth and Mary. He is the third youngest of the nine children.-
