Matilda Gifford 
Matilda was born in 1220 in Boyton, Wiltshire, England.1 Matilda's father was Hugo Giffard and her mother was Sybyl De Cormeilles. Her paternal grandfather was Walter Giffard; her maternal grandfather was Walter De Cormeilles. She had two brothers and a sister, named Walter, William and Alice. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 77 in 1297 in Lenhales, Herefordshire, England.1 -
