Robert was born in 1779 in Bedford, VA, USA.1 Robert's father was Robert St Clair and his mother was Ruth Palmer. His paternal grandparents were Wayman St Clair and Mary Shirley. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named John Pascal, George, Isaac S, Thomas Sinkler, Elizabeth, Mary, Rachel Sinkler, Martha, Nancy, Milanda and Sarah. He died at the age of 72 in October 1851 in Buckingham, VA, USA.1 -
