James Roberson 
James was born in 1737 in Bestland, Essex, VA, USA.1 James' father was Andrew Robertson and his mother was Elizabeth Monroe. His paternal grandfather was Unknown Robertson; his maternal grandfather was Unknown Monroe. He had a sister named Margaret McIntosh. He was the older of the two children. He had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Robert Munro, William, Thomas Glascock, Duncan Forbes, Andrew, George, Ann, Priscella and Elizabeth Harriet. He died at the age of 91 on January 3rd, 1828 in Bledsoe, TN, USA.1 
James and Mary were married in a religious ceremony in 1756 in Albemarle, VA, USA.1 They had six sons and a daughter, named Roysdon, William, James, John, Dauswell, Littleberry and Elizabeth.
