Edward was born in 1465 in Poynings, Sussex, England.1 Edward's father was Robert Ponynges and his mother was Elizabeth Paston. His paternal grandfather was Richard Poynings; his maternal grandparents were William Paston and Anne Beaufort. He had a brother named Richard. He was the younger of the two children. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Robert, Edward, Henry, Simon, Matthew, Elizabeth, Ann and Margaret. He died at the age of 58 in 1523 in Poynings, Sussex, England, England.1 -
