Jacob was born in 1767 in Bedford, VA, USA.1 Jacob's father was Silas Moorman and his mother was Sally Moon. His paternal grandparents were Achilles Moorman and Elizabeth Adams; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Moon and Mildred Cobb. He had a brother and a sister, named Pleasant and Martha. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 66 in September 1833 in Franklin, MO, USA.1 -
