Joan Mainwaring 
Joan was born in 1402 in Over Peover, Cheshire, England.1 Joan's father was Randle Mainwaring and her mother was Margery Venables. Her paternal grandparents were William Mainwaring and Elizabeth Leycester; her maternal grandparents were Hugh De Venables and Margery Cotton. She had three brothers and six sisters, named John, William, Randle, Phillipa, Clemence, Margery, Cecily, Ellen and Agnes. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 85 in 1487.1 -
