Gerold De Gournay 
Gerold was born in 1060 in Gournay, Normandy, France.1 Gerold's father was Hugh De Gournay. His paternal grandfather was Hugh De Gournay. He had nine half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Gerard, Hugh, Hugh, Gerard, Robert, Hugh, Gerard De Gournay, Hugh, Gerard, Basilie, Gundred and Adelaide. He died at the age of 38 in 1098 in Crusade, Middle East.1 
‌Gerold and Edith were married in a religious ceremony in 1096 in Sussex, England.1 They had four sons and six daughters, named Hugh, Walter, Gautier, Gonnor, Gourmay, Gourmay, Gonnor, Gundred, Gundred and Anseau.
