Thomas Cotton

Thomas was born in 1439 in Landwade, Cambs, England.¹ Thomas' father was William Cotton and his mother was Alice Abbott. His paternal grandparents were Walter Cotton and Joan Rede; his maternal grandparents were John Abbott and Agnes Abbott. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Andrew, Edmund, John, Robert, Ethelreda, Catherine, Elizabeth, Joan and Ethelreda. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 60 on July 30th, 1499 in Landwade, Cambridgeshire, England.¹
