Timothy Burton

Timothy was born in 1548 in Longnor, Shropshire, England.¹ Timothy's father was Edward Burton and his mother was Ann Madocks. His paternal grandparents were John Burton and Elizabeth Poyner; his maternal grandparents were Nicholas Maddocks and Madocks. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Humphrey, Captain Francis, Thomas, Francis, Dorothy, Mary, Dorothy, Catherine and Francis. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.
