Jane Burton 
Jane was born in 1513 in Longnor Hall, Shropshire, England.1 Jane's father was John Burton and her mother was Elizabeth Poyner. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Burton and Jocosa Cressett; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Poyner and Lucia Eyton. She had a brother and six sisters, named Edward, Jane, Eleanor, Ankekoka, Ann, Ankred and Mary. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers named Edward and Thomas.-
