His paternal grandparents were Humphrey Seigneur Of Pontaudemer and Aubreye De La Haye; his maternal grandfather was Waleran Count Of Meulan and his maternal grandmother is Oda De Conteville. He had two brothers and a sister, named Robert Of Beaumont, William and Aubreye. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 78 on June 20th, 1123 in Ponteaudemer, Normandy. He was buried in Abbey Of Preaux, Pont-Audemer, Normandy.-
