Adela was born in 1003 in France.  Adela's father was Robert II 'The Pious\Le Pieux' Capet and her mother was CONSTANCE De TOULOUSE.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Capet and Adelaide (Alice) De Poitou; her maternal grandparents were William D'arles and Adelaide (Blanche) D'anjou. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Hugh, Henry I, Robert I "The Old", Constance and Adele Of Auxerre. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Gerold I, HUGH, HENRY I, ROBERT I 'THE OLD', ADELAIDE (ADELA ALIX) and CONSTANCE.  She died at the age of 76 on January 8th, 1079 in Messinemonastre, France.
