Martha was born about 1625 in of Claydon, Oxfordshire, England. Martha's father was John Betts and her mother was Mary Bigge. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Betts and Joan Larkin; her maternal grandfather is Robert Bigge. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John and Mary. She died on April 13th, 1701 in Wethersfield, Hartford Co, Connecticut.-
