Martha BARBER 
Martha was born in 1818 in Chiddingly, Sussex, Engl. Martha's father was THOMAS BARBER and her mother was Sarah HOAD. Her paternal grandparents are Edward BARBER and Ann Geal; her maternal grandfather was THOMAS HOAD and her maternal grandmother is Sarah GASSON. She had five brothers and six sisters, named THOMAS, Henry, Benjamin, David, (Son), Mary Ann, Ruth, Hannah, Eleanor, Charlotte and Harriett. She was the second oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 40 on July 24th, 1858.General Notes
