Eveline was born in 1172 in Hereford, Herefordshire, England.1   Eveline's father was Roger "The Good" 5th Earl de Clare and her mother was Maud de Saint Hilary.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard de Clare , 1st Earl of Hertford ' and Adeliza de Guernons Countess de Meschines; her maternal grandparents were James du Harcourt de St. Hilary and Aveline (de St. Hilary). She had three brothers and a sister, named James, Roger, Henry and Mable. She had seven half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Richard  "Strongbow" 4th Earl, Richard (Sir) 6th Earl, James de, Roger de, Henry de, William V Earl of Arundel, Alan, Mabel de, Maud Matilda de, Joane de, Elena de, Aveline de, Aveline, Eveline (Aveline) de ' and Mabel.  She died at the age of 53 on June 4th, 1225 in England.  She was buried before June 24th, 1225 in Eng..1 1
