James Newlin 
James was born on September 27th, 1747 in Orange County, North Carolina.1 He had two brothers and a sister, named Eli, Nathaniel and Mary. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 66 on December 15th, 1813 in Orange County, North Carolina. He was buried in Spring Mm Cem, Orange Co, Nc.1 1
James and Deborah were married in a religious ceremony on January 22nd, 1772 in Cane Creek Mm, Chatham County, North Carolina.2 They had five sons and seven daughters, named John, William, Jonathan, Thomas, Nathaniel, Mary, Ruth, Sarah, Katherine, Eleanor, Hannah and Deborah.

Eleanor was born on February 4th, 1785 in Orange Co Nc.1 She died at the age of 75 on March 20th, 1860.1
Deborah Newlin
Deborah was born on September 9th, 1787 in Orange Co Nc.1 She died at the age of 64 on August 5th, 1852.1
Thomas Newlin
Thomas was born on February 21st, 1790 in Orange Co Nc.1 He died at the age of 87 on April 30th, 1877 in Honey Creek, in.1
