Robert the Constable, or Robert Fitz Ivo, a principal tenant of Robert,Count of Mortain, held Stoke-under-Hamden and Hatch, at Domesday. [Ref:Paul Reed 21 Jan 1999 msg to SGM, subject: Re: Constance Blount] Note:Paul has since become an FASG.
