Jesse Dixon 
Jesse was born on April 3rd, 1784.1 He had a brother and a sister, named Joseph and Cleopatra. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 89 in 1873.1
Jesse and Catherine were married in a religious ceremony about 1806 in Orange County, North Carolina.2 They had eight sons and five daughters, named John, Thomas, Joshua, Caleb, David, Solomon, Jonathan, Hugh, Patience, Ruth, Abigail, Sarah and Edith.

Patience was born on September 9th, 1807.1 She died at the age of 59 on July 11th, 1867.1
Ruth Dixon
Ruth was born on February 21st, 1814.1 She died at the age of 71 on February 26th, 1885.1
Caleb Dixon
Caleb was born on February 29th, 1816.1 He died at the age of 67 on February 7th, 1884.1
Solomon Dixon
Solomon was born on February 26th, 1820.1 He died at the age of 84 on June 16th, 1904.1
Abigail Dixon
Abigail was born on September 21st, 1822.1 She died at the age of 79 on June 25th, 1902.1
Jonathan Dixon
Jonathan was born on December 6th, 1826.1 He died at the age of 22 on May 5th, 1849.1
