Mabira de was born about 1110 in Gloucester,England.  Mabira de's father was Robert de Caen the Consul Fitzroy Earl of Gloucester and her mother was Maud Amabel Sibyl Fitz Hammon Countess of Gloucester.  Her paternal grandfather was "Beauclerc", King Of England Henry I; her maternal grandparents were Robert FitzHamon Earl of Gloucester and Sybil de Montgomery. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William Mafonache, Hamon, Philip, Richard Fitz Robert de, Roger, Maud Fitzrobert De and Mabel.  She was the oldest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers named Richard and Robert.  She died after 1190.
