Richilde of was born about 0915 in Auxerre, Yonne, Bourgogne, France.1   Richilde of's father was Richard I "The Justiciar" Duke of Burgundy and her mother was Adelaide of Auxerre.  Her paternal grandparents were (Bouin\Beuvesde) Count of Italy & Metz Budwine and Countess of Italy & Metz Richeut of Arles, Countess of Italy & Metz; her maternal grandfather was Conrad II Count of Aargau & Auxerre and her maternal grandmother is Ermentrude of Alsace. She has two sisters named Adelaide (Alice) of and Willa of. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named 'The Black' Duke of Burgundy, Alice\adelaide of, Willa of and Richilde of.
