Richard I "The Justiciar" Duke of was born about 0860 in Ardennes, Champagne-Ardenne, France.1   Richard I "The Justiciar" Duke of's father was (Bouin\Beuvesde) Count of Italy & Metz Budwine and his mother was Countess of Italy & Metz Richeut of Arles, Countess of Italy & Metz.  His paternal grandfather was Count of Amiens Richard I; his maternal grandfather was of East Franks Count of Turin Boso III and his maternal grandmother is Richilde d' Amiens. He had two brothers and three sisters, named I, King of Burgundy King of Burgundy, Boso II Count of, Empress of the Franks, Buvinus of and Richaut of.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died on September 1st, 0921 in Auxerre, Yonne, Bourgogne, France.1
