A more reliable source, BradfordGenealogy.org, shows the two lines to be separate. In this source it is stated that Nathaniel Bradford, Jr. possibly had no children of his own, but only one which was his wife's. There is no parentage given in this source for John Bradford of Fauquier Co., VA.

He was still living in Oct 1664, when his father recorded that Nathaniel Bradford Jr "my heir" in a deed where young Nathaniel was given 800 acres in Accomack Co. (Vol 1, 96)
