Catherine was born about 1310 in Buchan,a.,Scotland. Catherine's father was Henry Beaumont Earl of Buchan and her mother was Alice Comyn Countess of Buchan. Her paternal grandfather was Louis "D'Acre" Brienne Viscount Beaumont and her paternal grandmother is Agnes De Beaumont; her maternal grandparents are Alexander Comyn Sheriff of Aberdeen and Joan Le Latimer. She had a brother and a sister, named John De and Isabel. She was the oldest of the three children. She died on November 11th, 1368.-
