Walter De was born about 1243 in Elmley Castle,Worcestershire,England. Walter De's father was William Beauchamp Lord of Elmley and his mother was Isabel Mauduit. His paternal grandparents were Welcheline de Beauchamp , Baron Beauchamp and Joane de Mortimer; his maternal grandparents were William V de Mauduit , Baron Mauduit and Alice de Newburgh. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William, Walter, John De, Thomas De, Joan De, Sybil De, Isabel, Sarah and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died on February 16th, 1303. He was buried in Grey Friars,London,Middlesex,England.-
