Simon de was born about 1075 in Beauchamps,near Avranches,Cotentin,Normandy,Fr. Simon de's father was Hugh de Beauchamp Sir Knight and his mother is Adeliza Matilda Taillebois. His paternal grandfather was Robert De Beauchamp; his maternal grandparents were Ives (Ivo) de Taillebois , 1st Baron of Kendal and Lucia of Mercia. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Peganus (Payne,Pagan) de, Walter de, Milo de, Stephen de, Robert de, Adeline de, Beatrice de and Ellen de. He had seven half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Nicholas De, Stephen De, Simon De, Payne (Peganus) De, Walter De, Milo De, Robert De, Beatrice De and Ellen De. He died about 1137.General Notes
