Samuel Ford Ayres

Samuel Ford was born on January 14th, 1826 in Buckingham, Virginia.¹ Samuel Ford's father was John Bransford Ayres Col. and his mother was Maria (Mariah) Ford. His paternal grandfather was John (Parson Jack) Ayres Rev. and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Bransford. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Albert B., John William, William B., Elizabeth Hannah Hales and Maria Ann. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Nathan W., Robert Marshall, Edwin Moseley, Lewis Spotswood, Mary Frances, Susannah, Emmeline Moseley and Nancy L.. He died at the age of 4 on July 1st, 1830.¹
