Maria Ann Ayres 
Maria Ann was born on April 30th, 1828 in Buckingham, Virginia.1 Maria Ann's father was John Bransford Ayres Col. and her mother was Maria (Mariah) Ford. Her paternal grandfather was John (Parson Jack) Ayres Rev. and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Bransford. She had four brothers and a sister, named Albert B., John William, Samuel Ford, William B. and Elizabeth Hannah Hales. She was the youngest of the six children. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Nathan W., Robert Marshall, Edwin Moseley, Lewis Spotswood, Mary Frances, Susannah, Emmeline Moseley and Nancy L.. She died at the age of 74 on May 16th, 1902.-
