Adela de was born about 0856 in Auxerre, Yonne, Bourgogne, France.1 Adela de's father was Count of Chaunois Thierry II and her mother is Buvinus of Metz. Her paternal grandfather was Thierry I "The Treasurer" Count of Autun and her paternal grandmother is Miss Countess of Burgundy; her maternal grandparents were (Bouin\Beuvesde) Count of Italy & Metz Budwine and Countess of Italy & Metz Richeut of Arles, Countess of Italy & Metz. She had two brothers named Renaud Comte de and Monassas (Manasses) I Count of. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died after 0902.1 General Notes

Last, Adela (no 65) : if her son was really a Renhard, she was undoubtly the sister of Renhard and Manasses I of Auxerre. The family’s origin is Lotharingian.
Note: I believe that he is referring to Mansses I de Chalons & Renaud (Renhard) Vicomte de Auxerre & Comte de Bar-sur-Seine; but I can't be positive.
