SARAH DEAN 
SARAH was born on July 23rd, 1822 in CABELL CO,VA. SARAH's father was JOSEPH HENDERSON DEAN and her mother is ELIZABETH FERGUSON. Her paternal grandparents were BENJAMIN DEAN and MARY UNKNOWN; her maternal grandfather is WILLIAM LEONARD FERGUSON and her maternal grandmother was SARAH STOKES. She had six brothers and five sisters, named WILLIAM MARSHALL, BENJAMIN FRANKLIN, JOSEPH HENDERSON, JOHN WESLEY, ANTHONY WAYNE, LINDSEY S., CYNTHIA ANN, MARTHA HAYNIE, ELIZABETH, REBECCA MAHALA and EMILY CAROLINE. She was the oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 48 on September 11th, 1870.General Notes
