Catherine Arnsberger 
Catherine was born in 1786 in Washington County,Maryland.1 Catherine's father was Christopher Arnsberger and her mother was Catharina Fahrner. Her paternal grandparents were George Henry Arnsberger and Maria Magdalena Rausch. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Christopher, John, Michael, Frederick, George, Henry, Jacob, Anna Barbara, Elizabeth, Esther, Mary and Casandra. She died after 1865.General Notes

Catherine has a second marriage after Jacob Brantner died to John Stoner in Washington County, Maryland. They raised their child Mary along with the four Brantner children in Richland County Ohio. My husband is descended from Catherine and Jacob's son Jonas. He and his brother Samuel went to the California gold rush in 1849 and then to the Rush to the Rockies in 1859 and settled in Colorado. My new grandson Jonathan Brantner is a 5th generation Coloradoan and his Great Grandfather Louis Brantner who lives on Brantner Road is 91 and still gardening. Jonathan would be a 7th Great Grandson of George and Barbara Brantner of Washington County, Maryland and of Christopher and Catherine Arnsberger, and a 6th Great Grandson of Catherine and Jacob. He's only a couple months old, so I haven't had a chance to indoctrinate him on the importance of genealogy yet.
