Robert was born on February 5th, 1825 in Boxford, Suffolk, England and his baptism took place there on May 22nd, 1825. Robert's father was James dansie and his mother was Sarah chenery. His paternal grandparents are Abraham dansie and Mary Lake SMITH; his maternal grandfather is Philip chenery and his maternal grandmother was Elizabeth Parker. He had four brothers and four sisters, named James, John, William, James, Susan, Sarah, Sarah and Susan. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 71 on October 12th, 1896 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, UT. He was buried on October 16th, 1896 in Herriman, Salt Lake, Utah.-
