Godchilde was born about 0971 in , , , Normandy.  Godchilde's father was Yves (Ives) De Of Alencon Count and her mother was Gohilda (Godenhaute) Of Ponthieu.  Her paternal grandfather was Yves De Creil Seigneur and her paternal grandmother is Geile (); her maternal grandparents are Hildouin De Penthieu and Hersenda (). She had two brothers and a sister, named William I (Fabour), Ivres (Allencon) and Godhaut.  She died on October 27th, 1035.  She was buried in 1035.

They had a son named Hamon.
