George R. Davis 
George R. was born on May 28th, 1874 in David City, Butler, NE. George R.'s father was Christopher C. DAVIS and his mother was Phoebe Jane (Jenny) ROBERTS. His paternal grandparents were Branson Davis and Martha M. Zimmerman; his maternal grandparents were Elisha G. ROBERTS and Maria Elisabeth LONGWORTH. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Frank, Jessie John Thurston, Katie Nell, Mable, Jennie, Daisy Deane and Bessie Eda. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 75 on July 18th, 1949.-
