Frances was born in 1553 in Of Scrivelsby, Lincolnshire, England. Frances' father was Edward CLINTON (FIENNES [EARL OF LINCOLN and her mother was Ursula STOURTON. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Edward, Edward, Thomas, Thomas, Frances and Ann. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 70 on September 12th, 1623 in Woburn Abbey, Bedfordshire, England. She was buried in Cheneys, Bedfordshire, England.-
