Sallie Ann BELLE

Sallie Ann was born on January 13th, 1839 in , Barren, Kentucky.  Sallie Ann's father was Wilbern William BELLE and her mother was Margaret Ann SMITH. She had nine sisters named Jane, Rebecca, Mary Hays, Nancy, Minerva, Lucinda, Elizabeth, Victoria and Emma.  She was the second oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 97 on December 25th, 1936 in , Barren, Kentucky.  She was buried in Caney Fork Cem. Barren, KY.

‌Sallie Ann and James were married in a religious ceremony about 1873 in , , Kentucky.  They had two sons named Wilburn Woodard and Harry C..
