Hugh BARTLETT 
Hugh was born about 1805 in Green, KY. Hugh's father was Solomon BARTLETT and his mother was Isabella MARSHALL. His paternal grandparents are John BARTLETT and Prisilla FALKNER; his maternal grandparents were Hugh MARSHALL and Mary Madgewick. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Joshua, Solomon, Elizabeth, Esther, Abba, Priscilla and Hetta. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John M. and Mary E.. He died on September 12th, 1848 in , , KY.
Hugh and Leah were married in a religious ceremony about 1824. They had three sons and four daughters, named Solomon, Joshua, Jacob Thompson, Rachel, Isabelle "Ibby", Martha and Sarah.
