Mathilda was born on October 28th, 1874 in Stony Run Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota.  She died at the age of 74 on March 2nd, 1949 in Granite Falls Hospital, Granite Falls, Minnesota.  She was buried in Stony Run Church Cemetery, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota.
